Daina Gingras

Ms. Gingras began her early training in her hometown of Rutland, VT before attending the HARID Conservatory of Boca Raton, FL for four years. Ms. Gingras graduated valedictorian of HARID’s class of 2010 and went on to study on scholarship under Ethan Stiefel and Susan Jaffe at University of North Carolina School of the Arts. While there she was featured as Sugar Plum Fairy in Ethan Stiefel’s The Nutcracker, Odette in Swan Lake, principal roles in both Paquita and George Balanchine’s La Source, as well as soloist roles in works by James Kudelka and Susan Jaffe. Ms. Gingras received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in May 2014. Since joining Oklahoma City Ballet in 2013, Ms. Gingras has been featured in Matthew Neenan’s Exurgency, Twyla Tharp’s Nine Sinatra Songs, Brian Enos’s Speaking in Spheres, Robert Mills’ Our Private Rooms, and Spanish in Swan Lake.
