Oklahoma City Figure Skating Club is so proud that you are competing in the Southwest 9 States Championships. Thank you for choosing to represent OKCFSC in your skating endeavors. We appreciate you! We host a send-off exhibition and celebration for this competition as it, and regionals for qualifying levels are what our athletes work towards each year.
The exhibition and send off will be September 28th from 6:00-7:45 in the West Rink of Arctic Edge Ice Arena. Each skater is allowed to have 2 people attend the exhibition. We will practice social distancing and all spectators will need to watch from the stands so we can keep the walkways and rink side reserved for our athletes and volunteers working. Masks will be required as well as temperature checks upon rink entry.
We have a great group of skaters competing this year and we can’t wait to celebrate them! We have created a sign up genius to assist us in reserving spots for our skaters. If you can attend, please click HERE to sign up. Skaters who have a free skate as well as a short program are welcome to sign up for both. Please use a different group for each program so we can avoid any delays waiting for a costume change. Please arrive at 5:45 dressed and ready to go as we will want to get a quick group picture of these fabulous athletes.
We are unable to reliably play CD’s in the west rink. Please email an mp3 file of your music with the skaters first and last name and Free skate or Short Program in the subject line no later than 9/24 to megwilliams328@gmail.com. This is the same file you uploaded to entry eeze.
This exhibition is sanctioned by US Figure Skating and is sponsored by OKCFSC for our members so there is no charge for this event. We will also have a small gift as a thank you for representing our club. We are so proud of our members!
