About Us
The Oklahoma City Figure Skating Club is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that currently serves approximately 159 active members. Our members are a family of athletes and parents who are excited to share their love of the sport of figure skating with you.
Vision: We cultivate an environment that promotes lifelong enthusiasm for figure skating in central Oklahoma.
Mission: OKCFSC promotes athletes of all ages and levels, encouraging them to reach their goals in recreational and competitive figure skating by providing programming that enhances development on and off the ice.
Our club programming includes camps, ASPIRE, testing, competitions, off-ice programming, exhibitions, skate socials, and more. We provide discounted fees for our members, but enrollment is open to everyone in our skating community.
Our board members are volunteers who serve our members, non-members and our rink community. We know that our club may open the door for an Olympic skater, or offer a home away from home for a dedicated recreational athlete. It is our hope that all skaters will feel welcome and well-prepared to achieve their goals at OKCFSC, no matter what those goals might be.
Figure skating benefits athletes from all walks of life, from young children to adult enthusiasts. There are many varied avenues available to skaters, from competitive singles skating to pairs, ice dance, theatre on ice, synchro, and more. Some skaters thrive on competition, and some simply love the thrill of performing for an audience. There is truly something for everyone. Figure skaters learn self-discipline, confidence, goal setting and how to put these into practice daily. OKCFSC is here to help and mentor each skater through each unique experience. Whatever you hope to achieve in the arena and in your life, you will find support at OKCFSC.
Oklahoma City Figure Skating Club is a member of US Figure Skating. US Figure Skating is the national governing body for the sport of figure skating in the United States. It provides the framework and sanctions that encourage the compliance of member clubs for qualification as national and international skaters in all sanctioned events up through the Winter Olympic Games. It is a member of the International Skating Union.
