Roman Koudriavtsev

Roman was born in Moscow, Russia. He started skating at the age of 6 years old. He was trained by the renowned World and Olympic coaches, Irena Lulyakova, Natalia Dubova, Tatiana Tarasova, Staneslav Zhuk. He was extensively trained in ballet and character dance and performance, by dancers and choreographers of the Boloshi Theater and Russian National Dance School. As a member of Russian National Ice Skating Team, he participated in numerous national and international competitions around the world. In 1992, at the age of 21, he started his professional career with the Russian Ballet on Ice. For over 18 years he has been coaching in Oklahoma. Roman enjoys teaching skaters of all levels,
specializing in Freestyle, Moves in the Field, Spins and off ice training. He is a PSA and USFS member.
